| Welcome to the Sunny Side, and thanks for visiting us!
| Our goal is to let families and children experience a real home-grown pumpkin patch in a rural farm setting. You can pick your perfect pumpkin right off of the vine it grew on! Our motto is: "Don't pick your pumpkin from a pile or box!"

Welcome!
The Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch is owned and operated by Grant & Charisse Nurnberg. In October we happily welcome you to our seventh annual pumpkin patch! Thanks to all of our new visitors and returnees in 2007, everyone said they had a blast, so come back and visit our farm again again this year and enjoy some new activities! We are the area's largest pumpkin patch with over 5 acres of pumpkins planted so we will have enough varieties and great selections for all of our visitors through the entire month of October! In 2007 we had our best crop ever, with well over 10,000 pumpkins grown! We maintain very reasonable pricing so that all families can afford a trip to our patch. Our pumpkin pricing meets or beats any area store, and we have a much better selection!

Our 2008 maze celebrates the classic Peanuts cartoon, "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". The maze features three "Great Pumpkin" shapes that you must navigate through, and find the hole punches hidden in the maze for extra fun! After you finish the maze, pick your own great pumpkin from the Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch!
Here is an aerial photo of our farm, our 2008 Great Pumpkin Maze Adventure, and 1/4 of our pumpkin patch on the bottom!
We added a mini-star maze for smaller children to explore.
Have a closer look at the maze on our photo page. | | | |
Weather Forecast

Charity
At Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch we make a commitment not only to our customers, but to our community as well. In previous years we contributed to the following organizations: The Salina Emergency Food Bank, McPherson County Food Bank, Salina Rescue Mission, Salina Area United Way, CAPS, DVACKS, Ashby House, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Salina. We will donate to all of the same organizations each year. In an effort to promote food donations, please bring non-perishable food items and receive a free mini pumpkin or gourd for each item. We will distribute the donations to local food banks. Thank you to all who contributed, we collected over 300 items in 2007!
Congratulations to Charisse, she was recognized by the Salina school district for her work with the Headstart program!
